The best way to skip preparation stress is to involve other members of the family in the preparation process. This will not only reduce your stress level, but will also allow you to spend some close time with your family members and friends.

Familial stress

This stress occurs when undesirable family members came to visit you. Due to the festival environment, they can’t be ignored, but treated with respect. It’s usually difficult to spend time with these downright annoying individuals for too long as they will keep commenting on your food and decoration. Do not take any remarks personally, or you will only spoil your holiday. Instead of feeling bad about their snide comments, simply smile and take a deep breath.

More than often during times of misery, we feel extremely unhappy and lonely. We desperately feel the need to have a companion who understands  and supports us. Think about it, “Are you really

asking for too much?

Over here, a companion need not necessarily be your best friend, but it can simply be a group of individuals. A close encounter with grave stress helps us understand the importance of having good companions. Locking yourself within the four walls of the house will do no good to your situation.

Being part of a group is a great healing process in itself. If you haven’t tried this method as yet, then there might be several questions patrolling in your mind about the effective of this method. The answer lies in the fact that being in a group will unveil tales of different people who have undergone similar situations in the past. You will learn new things, and there is a possibility that you will see a ray of hope after you listen to real life stressful experiences.

More than often, a stressful situation blocks our mind, and curbs our ability to take correct decisions. However, if you are in a group, then it won’t be hard to seek new ideas which are effective and time tested. Perhaps, the last statement you will say while returning home is “why didn’t the idea occur to me as yet?.

Also, when you communicate with other people you realize that you need to avoid certain things to reduce your sorrow.

Remember, we live in a society, and choosing to live in isolation is certainly not a recipe to cope up with the ever mounting stress. Rather, see yourself as a part of a good group, and pave goodbye to the stress
